ENGWE EP-2 3.0 BOOST 250 W is a 20-inch folding electric bike designed for comfortable daily urban commuting with electric assistance, featuring a stylish grey color and a powerful yet legal 250 W motor.
Frame and Fork:
The bike features a lightweight 6061 aluminum alloy folding frame, allowing it to be compactly folded for transport. The front hydraulic suspension fork with adjustment and lockout absorbs shocks from uneven surfaces.
Motor and Battery:
An integrated 250 W brushless rear hub motor delivers high torque of up to 75 Nm, ensuring strong assistance on climbs and quick acceleration. The removable 48V 13.5Ah lithium-ion battery (648 Wh) allows a range of up to 135 km with pedal assist (PAS 1 mode, laboratory conditions). The battery charges very quickly, in just 1.5–2 hours, using an 8A fast charger.
Drivetrain:
A simple and reliable Shimano 7-speed system ensures smooth gear shifting and adaptability to various riding conditions.
Braking System:
Hydraulic disc brakes (with 180 mm rotors) at the front and rear provide powerful, reliable, and controlled braking in all weather conditions.
Wheels and Tires:
20 × 4.0-inch fat, puncture-resistant (with a 3 mm protective layer) Urban Hybrid tires offer improved grip, stability, and additional shock absorption on city streets and gravel roads.
Additional Features:
The bike includes a bright color LED display with Bluetooth connectivity and a “Boost” button that instantly delivers maximum torque when climbing. It also comes equipped with integrated front and rear lights and a sturdy rear rack.
